Canadian rapper Drake has continued to use his fame to make low effort music he knows will blow up especially with is latest one “For all the dogs”. Drake has been making popular music for a long time he’s mainly known from “One Dance” and “God’s Plan”. Both songs being from his two best albums: views and scorpion. Both albums showed Drakes true talent in the music industry as his lyrics expressed meaning and emotion deeper than just the words coming out of mouth. Songs like “Gods plan” and “One Dance” involve emotional feelings and desires such as love but also encouraging messages such as letting God guide you and it will work out in the end. However, recent albums like “Certified Lover Boy” and “For All The Dogs” have showed a lack of emotion and meaning using repetitive lyrics meant to become an earworm more than a work of art. Ultimately Drake has fallen in terms of standard to make easy money. However, it doesn’t hinder Drake’s impact on the music industry and his talent that unfortunately isn’t being fully fulfilled anymore. Maybe one day Drake will show us a note from the past.
