Fall is the season for cider mills and corn mazes. Yates and Blake’s are popular attractions and are worth a visit this time of year. At Yates, you can get your cider and walk down a trail going along a river. At Blake’s, you can pick your own apples and go to some haunted attractions.

The cool, crisp air of fall is always something to look forward to. Warm color tones found everywhere is enough to make someone go to a pumpkin patch and pick a pumpkin to carve. Colors make everyone look forward to the colors that will be featured on dinner plates on Thanksgiving while surrounded by family.

The different flavors of pumpkin spice, apple, and cinnamon are also big factors when it comes to fall: the food! Food plays a huge role in activities of the season. When you think of fall, you think of pumpkin spice, apples, and cinnamon. Whether its pumpkin spice from a local coffee shop, apple from some apple cider, or cinnamon from a donut from the cider mill, all of these flavors are warm and comforting.

The air is getting colder as the seasons change, leading to the clothing getting warmer. People start to wear their cozy sweaters and cute baggy sweatshirts. Different trends start to resurface as the fall weather comes back. Trends such as flannels and plaid print. Plaid can be found on any piece of clothing, like button ups and even skirts. Another style that always comes back is knitted patterns, you can never go wrong with knitted sweaters and hats.

The holidays that come around with the fall season are always memorable. People look forward to Halloween and Thanksgiving and spending time with family. Families start to come together when it starts getting colder outside but that just makes everything warmer on the inside. Many get to see family members that they usually never see on Thanksgiving, and they get to enjoy their company. When reflecting on everything that occurs during the fall season, it is easy to understand why it is such a loved time of year.
