How to Get Your SAT Scores

Find Your SAT Score

Brendan Moore, Junior Writer

Juniors: you may be wondering how to locate your score on the SAT.  The SAT is the most important test of your school career. Colleges will accept and reject kids based on their score on this critical standardized test.

Scores will be released by the College Board starting on May 2 with the multiple-choice.  The essay scores will come out a few days later on May 5-7. If you requested a paper score from the College Board, you will receive it within 10 days after you receive both essay and multiple-choice scores.  If you get email notifications from College Board, they will email you when your scores are ready. Make sure you know your username and password for College Board to access your scores!

Another frequent concern brought up about the SAT is sending scores to a college.  Score Choice is a free program by College Board that allows you to send scores to colleges.  You can choose up to four colleges to send your scores to. The College Board sends your score to your selected schools for free.
