Although Boys Volleyball hasn’t started, with steadiness of the team is still uneasy with the fact that there’s upcoming tryouts and no set coach. “They should practice a lot and work on their vertical to jump high. They can play a sport at their school and give others the opportunity to play,” senior Emerson Doen said. As the girls from the volleyball team give the boys some advice, they encourage them to continue and never give up. They wish them a good team and a good playoff. “Macomb County decided to start a new team,” Athletic Director Leah Konieczka said. “Because the state of Michigan had an expression in it. Spring is when volleyball starts for boys next year. Eisenhower has started. Kids wanted to do this for the school club.” Next year the boys’ volleyball sport will start because of MHSAA and the reason why is because they wanted to make this a good opportunity for those who also enjoy playing. “It’s just fun after basketball season and my friends are doing it,” sophomore Dominic Racti said. “No, I don’t like volleyball because I like basketball more. Not letting the ball touch, the ground where people are racing for it.” People on the bleachers screaming for their favorite team to win, as they hype them up, they get energized to continue to make their people proud as they win against the other team.
