The most important part of the college football season with more teams than ever, the brand new 12 team college football playoff bracket is here.
As many teams’ seasons end, the best is just getting started in the most anticipated way, the new 12 team playoff bracket and the 2024 bowl games.
“I think that the new 12 team format is really good, giving a bunch of teams a chance to make the championship,” senior Lucas Martin said. “I just hope that the top four teams make it to the final four anyways.”
Many people agree that the old college football playoff system, created in 2014, was bad because only four teams in the entire country could get in. Since the 12 team playoff system is being used, that means more games, which makes everyone happier.
“I love that there is going to be more weeks because that means more games,” senior Cristiano Ruhl said. “Obviously everyone would want more games just to see which really good teams would beat who.”
Everyone that loves college football agrees that more football is more fun. It makes it better because we get to see the best vs the best so everyone gets an opportunity to be the champion.
“I think my favorite bowl game, just because of how iconic it is, is the Rose Bowl,” senior Drake Smith said. “But because of the new format I like the Cotton Bowl and Orange Bowl because that determines who plays in the championship.”
The new college football 12 team playoff format is being used for the first time this season and many fans are very excited. This season will definitely be historic and hopefully all the games are as exciting as the fans are happy.
