As the competition starts, all the teams wait to perform their dance. Henry Ford II has been in nationals a couple times and they’re on their way again this year.
The goals and motives the Henry Ford dance team shares and what they’ve been doing to prepare for their competitive season.
“Something that motives me with dance is that it keeps me going,” freshman Adalyn Berden said. “Even when i’m tired from school or im just not in the mood, I go to dance and have fun and get what needs to get done, done.”
As theres not many girls on the teams, they still manage to do the best they cant with their performances despite not having a big team.
“Honestly i love dance so much,” freshmen Reagen Decoster said, “but it is stressful trying to stay up and going. I think starting dance was one of the best things ive ever chosen to do.”
The Henry Ford II dance teams are taking a trip to Flordia in febuary for nationals. Then, on Feburary 5th, before they leave, theyre having a Nationals Send Off at stevenson at 2:30pm.
“The dance team is very fun and special to me,” freshmen Samantha Goodin said. “Making varsity my freshman year was a crazy thing but honestly i’m so grateful I get to work with the other members and have fun.”
As the crowd cheers for the girls and they run off the Nationals floor, the dance team hopes for a good score on their performance.
