The EP fits in stunningly with the typical sound of Christmas music. It has a jazzy, peaceful, and majestic sound. Though some may wish the EP was longer as it only contains five songs.
There is something very comforting about this EP, from the instrumentals, to Laufey’s soft voice. The instrumentals per song make the album feel very wintery and whimsical. Laufey has a talent for making relaxing music.
It might be too quiet and sappy for some people’s likings as Christmas music can be more upbeat. The EP is also very short, a total of 13 minutes.
“A Very Laufey Holiday,” is perfect to listen to during a relaxing winter holiday. Though it is fairly short and simple, it has become a Christmas classic.
