Sayso says everyone to listen to the album

Start to finish, “Sayso Says” shows how versatile and exciting music can be. A rap album released in 2024 by Che, an amazing album with an alternative rap sound, loud and crazy beats. 

“Sayso Says” by Che has one of the tracks uses a sample from an anime for the intro which creates a crazy beat. Songs like “DON’T TELL NO1” show how he can rap up to speed with the fast beats. “CUT OFF YOUR HANDS” is another song that shows the energy of the album, flashy, crazy, and exciting. 

Most albums have features to keep the sound different with other voices, Che only has one feature on the album, and its only for the intro of one song. He still keeps the album sounding different with his own voice, he changes his voice and flow throughout the album to keep each song different.

 It’s new music that is different sounding than most music, and it sounds great. One of the cons of the album is that the music is not for everyone’s taste, it’s very niche. Songs like “My Favorite Color is Red” have a very distorted sound, and it’s hard to understand what he is saying, him using a very different autotune, it can sound like he talking behind a wall. This causes the beat to be the focus of the song and his voice is the background, which creates a very unique song.

 While the songs might not be for everyone, its creativity is appealing to listeners that want something different. Lots of experimental songs that sound out of the ordinary, but at the same time it can be a positive for people with a different music taste that want to hear something that isn’t generic. Its keeps the feeling of hype throughout the whole listen.

It’s debatably the best rap album to come out of the underground in 2024. It has some of the best beats to come out this year, as well as showing how good Che is, and what potential he has.

 Overall, “Sayso Says” is an enjoyable album, but not everyone will find it to be their taste on first listen. I think anyone that wants a refreshing feel on rap, should definitely give the album a listen.
