As hurricane Milton lands in Florida, landscapes are demolished, power outages occur, and tremendous damage is done, and leaving many repairs to be done.
After the hurricane occurred in Florida, it destroyed many properties, and many had to cancel their plans to travel.
” Was going to travel to Florida during Christmas break to visit my family and friends that I haven’t seen in a while,” a junior Jaclyn Dudde said. “The hurricane has destroyed me, and my families plans to travel to Florida.”
After the hurricane hit Florida, about 80,000 citizens had to come back from evacuations to see the devastation the hurricane left according to MSN. Trees were knocked down, power outages occurred, and home repairs needed to be done. Traveling to Florida for the next year, with all the damaged places to stay will be tough.
“The hurricane has impacted my family in Florida tremendously,” a junior Taylor Denz said. “Me and my family may still travel to Florida to help my family get repairs finished before the new year”
Many people had plans to travel to Florida in the next year, but now many have canceled their plans because of the hurricane. According to WUSF, the damages are tremendous and costing around 180 billion dollars. The hurricane was a category 5 according to FOX News, that made it a horrifying sight to see coming towards many people’s homes.”

After the hurricane is over, and the damage has been done, repairs have been started. Repairs will take a bit to be done, but it is all a work in progress that will be finished soon.
