The Falcons Faithful fans will fly into the nest for their big week one game.
Last football season for the Utica Ford varsity team started on the road in a tight game against Salem, which ended in Ford starting the season off with a big 21-18 victory. This win proved to be huge as it was just one of only two wins from the 2023-24 season. But this season not only do they start off at home, but they also have moved to the Mac Blue division, giving them an easier schedule this year.
With all of this change happening going into this season it’s causing a huge buzz from the fans. “It’s going to be great,” senior Dominic Scarnecchia said. “We will have all of the students come together to celebrate the school at the football games.” There is so much excitement for this upcoming season from not only the fans but also the players. “It really didn’t kick in until the 3rd day of practice,” Captain Michael Brown said. “It’s my last year to show people and colleges how much talent I have.”
The Falcons fans will also be rocking all white as the theme for week 1 is white out. This is just one of the many themes the Ford fans will be wearing this year as we have all new themes, and with new student section leaders Gavin Gugliemetti, Alessandro Taormina, and Solomon Gambone the falcon’s nest will be ready for the season. “I’m really excited to lead the section with all my friends”, senior Gavin Gugliemetti said.
So be there at 7pm Friday night at Stevenson stadium and fly to the nest with the other falcons’ fans to watch the season opener
