For any teens with Spiritual questions and looking for a fun time, heritage church on hall road welcomes you every Wednesday at 7 p.m.
A typical Wednesday at heritage starts off with fun games into a couple of worship songs. Then we get into the message typically told by Connor Mead, the youth pastor but sometimes by other leaders, pastors or guests. After that you’re free to go off and do whatever you want and grab some of the snacks they usually have or play sports like basketball and volleyball.
HC youth even has some special youth group nights like the nighter glow night or even trips to cedar point.
The best part about heritage youth group is that its open to any one of any religion or back round. they accept everyone who may just want to give Christianity a chance. “Everyone’s trying to figure out their identity” Youth Pastor Connor Mead said.” the best place to figure it out is church.”
many students at Henry Ford II High School also recommend going. “its a good way to expand your relationship with God,” junior Quimon Randolph said.
not only do students from Ford go to these youth groups on Wednesday’s but it also is a way to meet students from other schools. “I would advise every teenager to go to a youth,” youth leader Landen Maffetone said. “It’s an amazing place to grow as a young adult and be around others who have the same goals and ideals as you.”
So next Wednesday bring your friends to HC youth for a great experience.
