Hearing people singing and loud sounds coming from speakers are going to be clear indicators of a concert. This year, Pine Knob has numerous artists that vary from genre to genre coming to perform this year. Pine Knob’s Music Theatre is an large outdoor concert hall, so be sure to check the weather before attending a concert without any prior research.
“Yes, I am interested in going, it just depends on who,” senior Drake Thomas said.
Artists that will be attending this May- September range from folk such as Neil Young, to 21 Savage, Third Eye Blind, Korn, Megadeth, Luke Bryan, Rob Zombie, and many more. To attend any of these, concert goers need to get tickets as soon as possible which can be easily accessed through the Pine Knob Music Theatre website.
“My favorite concert at Pine Knob was Queens of the Stone Age, they’re not my favorite band but they had great visuals and put on a good performance,” senior Joseph O’Neill said.
Pine Knob is able to host over 15,000 customers, due to their large mostly outdoor design. The amphitheater was founded June 25, 1972, and originally only was able to have only a capacity of less than 13,000 people.
“All the space is nice,” senior Aidan Carolin said. “The pricing is good too, but sometimes cheap tickets are so far from the stage and concessions are too much.”
In total, Pine Knob is an exceptional amphitheater to attend for those who enjoys concerts. Don’t forget to check the weather, and make sure to check each website that sells tickets. Rock on.
