After three months straight of college football the College Football Playoff Committee concluded that the four teams playing for the chance to win the National Championship will be Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma. The four schools will form the playoff bracket with the semi-finals on December 29th. But what about the many other bowl games?

The Generator will be running a FREE school wide College Football Bowl Game pool for anybody and everybody from Henry Ford II to join. We will be using the website ESPN.com to run the pool.  First, create an ESPN account if you don’t already have one. Next, when you get onto the ESPN website go into the “fantasy” section and then click on “Capital One Bowl Mania”. From there go into “my groups” and click “join a group”. Then, scroll down to “search groups,” type in “2018 HF2 Gen”.

We have two groups. The first group, “2018 HF2 Generator” is for confidence. Therefore when you pick your winning team you must place them at a point range of how confident you think that team will win. For example: If you think Alabama will win, and you put Alabama at 27, if Alabama wins you will receive 27 points in the pool. The person with the most points after all the games have been played will win.

Our second group is for people who just want to play casually and only pick the winner of the game. This group is “2018 HF2 Generator StraightUp”. In this group you will just be picking who will win the game. The person with the most correct games picked will win.

Lastly, all you have to do is make your picks. Go to the 4th step, there you will see all of the bowl games. Put a check mark in the box next to the team you believe will win and when you’re done with every game click the button “submit picks”. We ask you that you name your entry as your actual name that way it’s easier for us to see who’s on top of the leaderboard.

We will be releasing another article, with a couple of our staff members releasing some of their picks in the tougher games so stay tuned if you need some help and want your entry to be as good as possible.

Spread the word to get all your friends in here. Enjoy the games and the holiday season!
