Senior Scholarship Opportunities

As senior's futures are approaching fast, here are some scholarships available exclusively to Ford students.

Henry Ford Falcon Scholarship and Nancy Greiner Scholarship

  • These two different scholarships will be awarded to four students who will attend a post-secondary school next fall.
  • Both scholarships are $750.00 and non- renewable. They will be awarded to students based off financial need, academic record, and application quality.
  • The scholarships are available to students with the following education options:
  • Students pursuing vocational training requiring less than 4 years of schooling
  • Students pursuing an associate degree (2 years)
  • Students pursuing an associate degree with the intent of transferring to a 4- year program
  • Students who will immediately seek a baccalaureate (4 year) degree

 

  • APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE

 

  • APPLICATIONS ARE DUE APRIL 25, 2018

 

Stefan Oncia Memorial Scholarship 2018

  • This scholarship was developed in 2015 in memory of former student Stefan Oncia
  • The scholarship is $1500 and is open to any seniors who are planning on attending a post-secondary education program.
  • Applicants must submit the following:
  • An application cover page
  • Teacher recommendations
  • An essay of 200-500 words, in MLA format addressing the following topic: What does resilience mean to you?

 

 

  • ALL APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT ALL MATERIALS BY THURSDAY, APRIL 26 2018 BEFORE 2:14
  • ALL MATERIALS MUST BE SUBMITTED EITHER DIRECTLY TO MRS. METRO OR CAN BE EMAILED TO HER AT [email protected]

 

 

Mr. Cucchi’s Scholarship

    • A $1000 scholarship available to any senior whos is on track to graduate and is planning on attending a post-secondary educational program.
    • Students may submit and essay explaining what Henry Ford II means to them.

 

  • ESSAYS ARE DUE BY APRIL 25
  • STUDENTS MAY PICK UP THE DIRECTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF THE ESSAY IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE

 

 

The Bunny’s Hope for the Future Scholarship

  • This is a $700 scholarship in memory of Mrs. McGunnigle’s mother, Rosemary “Bunny” Gumbko.
  • Students must be the following:
  • Female senior who has lost a parent
  • GPA between 2.7-3.4
  • Must be pursuing a career in a technical field (STEM)
  • Must be attending a University, College, Community College, or Trade School

 

 

  • APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED BY APRIL 25 AND GIVEN TO MRS. MCGUNNIGLE IN ROOM 205.
