Hollywood Homecoming

Lights, Camera, Action! Get ready for this year’s spirit week, because Ford’s going Hollywood! There may not being a red carpet at Henry Ford II High School, but be prepared for a star studded homecoming week!

The week begins with roll out of bed monday. This spirit day is the perfect excuse to hit the snooze button on your alarm and catch a few extra minutes of sleep. Don’t even bother picking out an outfit, just show up in your PJ’s! Not sure what to wear? Onesies, slippers, fuzzy pajama pants, and blankets are perfect ideas for this spirit day.

Next up is tye-dye Tuesday. Students are given the chance to show their more far-out side with some groovy tye-dye ensembles. The shirts made at the tye-dye event the previous week would make a great outfit to wear.

Wednesday is Character Day. Have a favorite character from a movie, book, or TV show? Have you always wanted the chance to dress up like them? Well you’re in luck! Show up to school on Wednesday dressed to impress!

One of the most anticipated days of the week (at least for the seniors) is Class Color day on Thursday. Seniors are purple, juniors are pink, sophomores are orange, and freshman wear blue. Get ready to represent your grade and show your true colors!

Get ready to soar, because to close spirit week is everybody’s favorite Falcon Friday! Wear your maroon, black, and white to represent your class at the pep assembly, and the football game later that night. Show your love for your school and go all out!

Spirit week this year is going to be filled with lots of fun and school spirit! Just remember you’re representing our school, so make sure all your spirit wear still follows school dress code regulations. Make homecoming week this year one to remember!
